My teaching career started in 1993. I taught in a number of different states including North Dakota, Florida, Wisconsin, and Colorado. I started at Redstone in 2006, and I have been an interventionist here since 2011. I am excited to welcome my new team, and I look forward to helping even more students learn.

Welcome to the 2018-19 school year! I am excited to be a part of the MTSS team this year. I love working with language learners and being in classrooms with teachers and students.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from Colorado State University. I also have a Master’s Degree in Diverse Learner.

My teaching history includes being a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and ELD teacher. I look forward to a great year!

Cierra Pierce




Hello! My name is Cierra Pierce and I am the new Elementary School Counselor. I am so excited to be part of the Redstone Elementary family.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Florida Gulf Coast and my MA in Clinical Mental Health in School Counseling licensure at Denver Seminary. As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students. I look forward to collaborating with parents and teachers to support the students of RSE!

This is my 7th year at Redstone, and my 2nd year running the Eagle's Nest sensory break room. My background includes classroom teaching, and working in our wonderful SSN department.I am from Indiana, but have lived in Colorado for 12 years. All three of my children attended Redstone! I also have 2 beautiful dogs named Bella and Reggie.

This is my first year at Redstone but have been an educator since 1998.

I have taught special needs preschool, first, third, and fourth grades. My husband, two daughters, and I have lived in Oklahoma, Kansas, Kentucky and Arizona. I love working will all types of learners and am excited to be a part of the Redstone family.

This is my first year at Redstone Elementary. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Concordia University, Saint Paul. I lived in Minnesota a majority of my life and just moved to Colorado in August. I moved here with my significant other and adorable cat, Chloe. I was a second grade long-term substitute teacher with two different districts in MN. I'm excited to be a part of Redstone Elementary and to help all students reach their full potential!

I have a Masters degree in accounting and a Mother’s degree in gifted education through raising 4 gifted children in 3 different school districts across the US.

I am passionate about education and encouraging and inspiring children to be lifelong learners.
